How does it work?

POTS automates service sheets, appointment booking, communication with customers, part ordering and tracking. It runs on engineers’ mobile phones and on the office desktop and everything is in real time so it is always visible and up to date.

Information from your mobile workforce is fed directly into the POTS field service management system using a smart phone or tablet. This information goes straight to your administration team in real time, providing an accurate view of the repairs done, time taken and parts ordered. The administration team can then use the PC-based version of the work management software to manage inventory and to send out invoices immediately. Faster invoicing can significantly improve cashflow.

The system also automates customer communications. Emailing clients to let them know that their equipment is back in use helps you to provide excellent customer service and reduces the number of queries coming in to your administration team.

There is also a new version in development that will enable manufacturers to meet legal requirements for compliance and traceability of their products.
